Sokugi Taikyoku Sono Ichi
Sokugi Taikyoku Sono Ichi is the fourth Kyokushin kata that students at Aranami Dojo learn, and is required for a test for 9th kyu and subsequent levels. It is a 20-step kata that begins and ends in fudo-dachi, and all steps are in zenkutsu-dachi. Each turn is accompanied by a kansetsu-geri followed by morote gedan-barai. Each step forward is accompanied by a mae keage. A kiai is required on the 8th and 16th moves.
Taikyoku Sono San
Taikyoku Sono Ni is the third official Kyokushin kata. It is a requirement for students who are testing for 9th kyu. It is similar in shape to Taikyoky Sono Ichi and Ni, except there is an addition of a new stance and technique, koukutsu-dachi and uchi-uke.
Taikyoku Sono ichi
Taikyoku Sono Ichi is the first official Kyokushin kata. It is a requirement for students who are testing for 10th kyu.
Taikyoku Sono Ni
Taikyoku Sono Ni is the second official Kyokushin kata. It is a requirement for students who are testing for 10th kyu. It is almost exactly the same as Taikyoku Sono Ichi, except the punches are high instead of middle-height.
